The program will center on the rich sound of the harp, which captivated France’s finest composers at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries: the wonderful, intimate Impromptu; Gabriel Fauré’s gentle Sicilienne for flute and harp; and Jacques Ibert’s biting trio.
Also performed will be Maurice Ravel’s virtuosic duo for violin and cello.
