Hassan, a 55-year-old Palestinian taxi driver in Berlin, picks up Amir, a young Israeli who has recently arrived in the city and is trying to maintain a confusing romantic relationship. What begins as a random ride develops into repeated encounters in Hassan’s taxi between two people who left everything behind, moved to a foreign country, and lost their way.

It is דווקא there, during drives through the frozen Berlin nights, that the two find a genuine connection—one that gives Amir a sense of home and encourages Hassan to look, for the first time, directly at the story of his life.

A beautiful film that, despite its symbolic premise—bringing a Palestinian and an Israeli together on German soil—manages to avoid every possible cliché. With cinematic sensitivity, it touches the human heart, regardless of religion, race, or gender.

The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, where critics hailed it as a rare gem, and it received enthusiastic responses from audiences.
