Touch, Movement, and Relaxation Workshop for Babies and Mothers at Beit HaTzanchan, starting on October 5, 2026, at 10:00. Four sessions with Shira Gobi.
How can we help a baby calm down in a world full of stimuli? And how can we, as mothers, remain their “island of calm” amid the intensity of the beginning? Come learn the language of touch and movement.
In the workshop, we will learn about the importance of deep touch and the vestibular system (balance) in a baby’s development, and learn simple, calming techniques for everyday use. Together, we will discover how your self-regulation is the key to regulating your baby, and experience an enriching sensory play session.
Come gain practical tools, confidence, and quality time with your baby.
The workshop will be led by Shira Gobi, an occupational therapist from the Early Childhood Center, and will take place over four sessions:
Registration is for the entire workshop.
