The plot follows Maria, a young nun appointed as governess to the seven children of Captain von Trapp, bringing joy and home to the family before the Nazis threaten their lives. The show stars Nir Shiber and Mika Tzur.

Set in Austria (1938), Maria is a young nun full of joy who struggles to adhere to the strict rules of the convent. Sent by the Mother Abbess to become a governess for the seven children of Captain von Trapp—an Austrian army officer, widower, and strict disciplinarian—Maria soon transforms their home from a place of rigid rules and iron discipline into one filled with happiness, laughter, and music. She captures the hearts of the children and, subsequently, the heart of their father. The two decide to marry. However, this idyll is shattered with the Nazi occupation of Austria, forcing the young family to courageously face challenges and dangers on their journey toward a better life elsewhere.
