Tamar Tamara

Dufen 5 Creator Festival

Synopsis: Tamar Tamara

Tamara, 40, single and National Haredi, finally meets the man of her dreams. When he tells her that he is not interested in having more children, she simultaneously learns that she has become pregnant through a sperm bank—without the knowledge of the rabbi and rebbetzin, who oppose the move. The only person who supports her is Tamar, Judah’s wife, her imaginary and biblical friend. Now, carrying a secret in her belly, she faces a choice: fulfill her last opportunity for motherhood or get married and belong to the community.
