Dufen Creator Festival 5
A family mystery comedy about a police investigator trying to solve the murder of her mother, Rachel, with the help of the last person she ever wanted to meet again: her mother.
Six months after cutting off contact with her domineering mother, Limor Cohen is called to her mother’s apartment, where everything appears to be a suicide.
But during the funeral, Rachel, the mother, returns as a ghost whom only Limor can see—nagging and critical even after death. She insists that she did not commit suicide and refuses to move on until they discover what really happened to her.
From that moment, Limor is forced to return to the life she tried to escape: Rachel’s secrets, her mother’s gossiping friends, her jealous sister Yael, Oren, her ex who is leading the investigation, and Jackie, the talkative parrot Rachel left her. As Limor and Rachel draw closer to the truth, Limor discovers that even after death, it is impossible to truly escape one’s mother—especially not a mother like Rachel, who loves to the very end, and beyond.
