A movement and theater performance at the Yotzer Dofen 5 Festival, on November 3, 2026, at the Dofen Theater in Petah Tikva. A work about dreams, symbols, and wishes.
Created by Rotem Virtheim and Noya Tzur
Direction, writing, and performance: Rotem Virtheim and Noya Tzur
What happens when our eyes close and our critical faculties fall asleep? Every night, our subconscious brings a storm of symbols, sensations, fears, and hopes onto a private stage. A dream is not merely a fleeting subjective experience—it is an extraordinary gateway for processing our deepest emotions, a place where open questions from reality receive unexpected answers.
The performance It’s All Dreams invites you to dive into the fragile and magical space between movement and theater. Through interpreting symbols, deciphering recurring dreams, and bringing the nightly dream into contact with everyday reality, we weave our private dreams together with all of our collective aspirations.
We all dream, and we all search for meaning. We wake up in the morning with an urge to share, to trace a meaning, because a dream is a treasure map and a code directly connected to our lives.
The performance echoes the experiences we undergo in the dark and remain alone with in the light. It reminds us that our dreams—whether those that appear during sleep or those we long to fulfill while awake—are the fuel that drives us, gives us hope, and reconnects us with ourselves.
We created the performance in the hope that you will encounter a piece of your own private dream in it, and be able to touch the less clear places as well. To awaken renewed curiosity about the messages of the subconscious, new questions for the coming night, and above all, a little more courage to keep dreaming and let wonder guide you, even when your eyes are wide open.
Rotem Virtheim – Creator, theater teacher, and yoga therapist. A mother who has been involved with dreams from a young age—ever since I was young, I felt that my dreams had meaning and that I could learn about my life through them. Some of the dreams were prophetic, while others were emotional and symbolic.
Noya Tzur – Actress, director, choreographer, and artistic mentor. Facilitates and creates social-art projects and spaces for personal expression, connection, and peace through creative work. She believes in the power of a smile and of creativity to heal and connect, and in every person’s ability to bring their unique fingerprint into the world. In my work and teaching, I connect and combine the body, movement, consciousness, humor, and clowning with yoga, ritual facilitation, energy healing, and the world of the hidden and revealed :)
