What is art if not an expression tool of who we are now, in the past, or aspire to be? Films are created by people and reality is a mirror translation of our minds; in fact, we all live in a movie. Nowadays, it seems we all need films that outline and describe a different reality. Thus, in every movie, we ask what led to this behavior? What allows such a reality? One of the answers is the human brain, which creates reality, translates it, and leads to action and change in the world. The brain is what created the film and is the viewer.

For each film in this series, we will precede with a lecture focusing on an aspect related to the wonders of the brain.
We will discuss the brain's power in transformation and healing through the film "The Fisher King," the question of human nature through the film "My Heart Skipped a Beat." How consciousness creates reality will be seen in "The Truman Show," and the power of language in understanding and constructing the world will be discussed in "Arrival."
