Synopsis: The year is 1985. Vensan, barely 13, lives with his Jewish family in the suburbs of Paris – his mother trying to advance at work, his father still searching for the right career, and his teenage brother who cares mainly about music and money. Vensan is in a period full of changes – he falls in love for the first time, learns new and surprising things, and prepares for his bar mitzvah – the day he becomes a man. In these moments, no longer a child but not yet an adult, he will try to find his place in the family and the world.
Directors: Popular French directors Eric Toldo and Olivier Nache (“Connected to Life”, “Sa la Vi!”, and “Out of the Ordinary”) return with a funny and moving comedy that is also their most personal story, and essentially everyone’s.
