Synopsis:
Young Niko is sent to spend the summer months with his aunt Jela. He is opinionated, stubborn, and glued to his cellphone. She is traditional, conservative, and accustomed to etiquette and a fixed daily routine, but a secret also hides in the old apartment where she has lived most of her life.
Niko’s presence inevitably disrupts Jela’s life; he is cheeky, she tries to educate him, and the clash between old and new, tradition and modernity seems unavoidable. Gradually, however, a delicate and beautiful bond forms between them—one neither knew they needed.
A bittersweet, magical coming‑of‑age story that wins our hearts by building a bridge of humanity between two vastly different worlds.
