A medical thriller drama following an IVF unit at a hospital, in a world where fertility medicine and corruption intersect.
Dr. Alex Gold, a resident at Hashikma Hospital, struggles to come to terms with the suicide of her husband, Dr. Yonatan Gold, director of the IVF unit, who took his own life within the hospital walls. Wounded, pregnant, yet determined, Alex embarks on a personal and uncompromising investigation.
As she delves deeper into the case, cover-ups, medical corruption, and dark secrets are revealed—secrets that threaten to shake the entire hospital.
“Angels in White” is a play about a collapsing healthcare system (not ours), about corruption that gnaws even at the physician’s oath (not here), and about ordinary people who refuse to remain silent—and manage to make a major impact.
The debut work of investigative journalist Gili Kozba, formerly a staff member of “Uvda.”
All characters and events in the play are the product of the creator’s imagination, and any resemblance between them and reality is entirely coincidental.
