Two women of a faded, extinguished, ironic, clear-eyed age—one that has been through many washes and types of fabric softener, with the charm of stonewashed Levi’s 501s. Using attention-deficit distractions, deliberate sloppiness, and plenty of humor, they tell how they ended up managing solo careers from home, how they turned their children into lemonade, and how they eventually managed to make money from it too: a career, an audience, a reason to get up in the morning, and a mortgage we will never finish paying off. Daniela focuses on lines, Liza on pots, and both of them on their story and the unique way they choose to tell it.
