“All Life Ahead of Him”
A stage adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Émile Ajar.
In a poor neighborhood of 1970s Paris lives Madame Rosa—a Holocaust survivor and former prostitute who now raises the children of her former colleagues.
Among the children is Momo–Mohammed, a Muslim boy whose parents have disappeared. She continues to raise him even though no one has paid for his care for years.
A remarkable relationship develops between the two, becoming an unbreakable bond.
A delicate and moving story about a boy who never stops asking questions, and a woman who teaches him how to go on living even when life becomes impossible.
An adaptation of the humane and compassionate novel by the French-Jewish author Romain Gary, who published it under his literary name, Émile Ajar.
The adaptation, written by Xavier Jaillard, won the 2008 Molière Award.
