K. Tzetnik, a Holocaust writer who sold millions of copies and shaped Holocaust awareness in Israel, remained an enigma. The author, who hid behind a pseudonym all his life, appeared publicly for the first time when testifying at the Eichmann Trial. In a short testimony, just a few minutes long, he coined the term "the other planet" as a metaphor for Auschwitz, fainted, and was forever etched into Israeli memory. The film sheds new light on the complex figure of K. Tzetnik, the writer who lived with a constant split of identities. It brings back to consciousness an obscure chapter in the author's life. In the seventies, at the age of 67, K. Tzetnik underwent an experimental treatment with LSD. This treatment led to a new book and fresh conclusions about the Holocaust and human responsibility. Why didn't this book sell like its predecessors, and why didn't it find its place in Holocaust memory in Israel?
