Ein Haniya is a charming spot featuring a spring and an ancient pool filled with water, which you can enter if you wish (the water may be a little chilly).
The pool’s water flows through a stone channel and irrigates the nearby agricultural fields, where vegetables and fruit trees are grown.
During the tour, we will learn about the spring, walk alongside the aqueduct, and see the nymphaeum up close. The nymphaeum is a very beautiful ancient Roman water fountain where people would stop in the evening to drink water and rest. On the tour, we will discover several fruit trees growing at the site, including an olive tree and an almond tree.
