😉 Grigory Kofman — “Hooligan Songs of the 20th Century”

🗓 November 11 | 🕑 19:00 | 📍 Menachem Begin Center, Jerusalem

🧢 Grigory Kofman’s musical-dramatic one-man show is an anthology of the unofficial musical culture of the twentieth century. The program brings together key genres of urban folklore: from classic Odessa couplets and courtyard songs to camp ballads. Drawing on the work of iconic underground artists, the performer transforms traditionally marginal song material into a profound theatrical statement. The intimate format of the performance shifts the focus from the genre’s outward aesthetics to its essential meaning, exploring through the prism of music the themes of historical memory, inner freedom, and the preservation of human dignity.
