Anti-Aging | Comedy Festival

Lucy, a young and cheeky acting student, arrives at the premiere at the Hamez Theatre. From the audience, she spots Boaz Levy, an older and famous actor who, surprisingly, makes no effort and does not speak with an affected theatrical accent. Through scheming, she gets him to make a pass at her, and by midnight she is already on her way to his home in the pigeon city of Holon. The relationship continues, the nights grow longer, and Lucy tries to understand—is this a relationship? She rummages through his apartment, talks to his dog, impersonates Ilana Dayan—anything but ask him directly.

Just when she is closer than ever to an answer, a fear awakens in Lucy: does she know what love looks like?

Anti-Aging is a comedy that is both romantic and musical, about fantasy, loneliness, and love.

The play premiered as part of the 2024 Israeli Comedy Festival in memory of Ephraim Kishon.

The play is intended for ages 15 and up.
