A culinary tasting tour lasting approximately three hours at Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda Market, featuring 5–6 tastings, stories, and an introduction to the finest stalls.
The aromas, flavors, vendors’ calls, incredible Jerusalem atmosphere, and eclectic human diversity capture the essence of Israel. The Mahane Yehuda Market is the beating heart of Israeli society—the unrivaled consensus. Everyone—absolutely everyone—loves Mahane Yehuda.
Our tasting tour of Mahane Yehuda will take you on a delightful culinary journey, moving between legendary places that still prepare stuffed vine leaves by hand, incredible homemade kubbeh and stews cooked on a primus stove; young, audacious breweries located in the heart of the market; fine delis bringing rare products from around the world; and stalls that have reinvented “street food.”
Among the tastings we like to include on the tour: a taste of irresistible, outrageously good jachnun; an amazing Georgian pastry; Israeli craft beer; a shot of freshly squeezed juice at Uzi-Eli; a delicious, hit borekas; stuffed vine leaves; crispy fried kubbeh; and more. Everything depends on availability and the market’s stock.
Each group is limited to 20 participants. Tastings are served as an individual portion for each participant.
