Guided tour at the Castel National Park during the intermediate days of Sukkot, focusing on Jewish values and the story of the defense of Jerusalem. Participants meet with guides and volunteers, pass through value stations such as determination and leadership, and take nostalgic photos. The tour includes a walk through communication trenches and viewing a battle reenactment, concluding with a panoramic view of Jerusalem.
Meet with instructors from the Israel Nature and Parks Authority and site volunteers who will share the story of the place, and take a commemorative photo at a period-themed photo booth.
Together, we will ascend to the top of "HaCastel" (The Castle) via the "Values Trail," experiencing stations focused on perseverance, friendship, leadership, and integrity, through which we will recount the unique and moving story of HaCastel—a turning point in the War of Independence and the defense of Jerusalem.
We will pass through communication trenches and bunkers, view an engaging battle reenactment, and conclude with a stunning view overlooking Jerusalem.
When: Monday–Wednesday, September 27–29 (Sukkot Chol Hamoed), from 10:00 to 15:00
