A family nature event with activities for children and a night tour on September 28, 2026, at Khirbet Arza. Admission is free.
17:15–18:15 | “Jump to the Tree” – An activity led by JNF: a movement and cooperation game on a giant parachute printed with parts of a tree—leaves, flowers, and fruit. We will complete tasks that teach about trees typical of the Land of Israel and enjoy a fun, bonding activity. Suitable for children from kindergarten through third grade.
18:30–20:00 | Night Tour of Khirbet Arza, led by Shmulik Friedman. We will stroll along the park’s trails in the twilight, between woodland and orchard, alongside the archaeological remains. We will listen to the sounds of nature at sunset and encounter animals that are active at night. During the migration season, there is a chance to observe migrating birds, and we will learn about insects and other creatures. Suitable for the whole family—come wearing closed shoes and long pants.
