Selichot Jerusalem

We continue the moving tradition. Together, we open the gates of heaven with David D’Or’s annual, much-talked-about and exhilarating Selichot show in Jerusalem.

As every year, we invite wonderful guests, among Israel’s leading singers. This year, we are honored to host: Evyatar Banai, Amir Dadon, Moshe Peretz, and Amir Benayoun.

A wonderful musical performance that touches all the senses. Through his moving singing, David D’Or creates a rare musical encounter and a true sense of connection on stage. The diverse musical styles found in our prayers intertwine to create a powerful unity, expressed in a grand prayer by the artists and audience together.

Beloved piyyutim and Israeli songs of forgiveness and the soul convey an experience connecting past and present while praying for the future. In these historic days, the Selichot show takes on additional significance: an understanding of how important unity is among all facets of the nation.

Encounters between Israel’s greatest musicians—different generations and styles—connect us to home, our roots, our people, and our country. The beloved and profound prayers of the Ten Days of Repentance touch each of us and are characterized by an atmosphere of renewal and purification in preparation for the coming New Year, may it be a good one.

David D’Or’s Selichot show at Sultan’s Pool in Jerusalem has become a tradition and an international success. During this period, when Jerusalem fills with spirituality and holiness, this extraordinary musical experience is suitable for all audiences and succeeds in touching the innermost place within each of us—a song that touches the strings of the soul.

During the show, piyyutim and melodies will be performed in a Jewish atmosphere, alongside the beloved and familiar songs of all the participants.
