Circles – A Live Multidisciplinary Musical Gathering

Orka Hosts Nadav Dagon

Just before Rosh Hashanah eve, you are invited to pause, listen, and come together for a gathering of music, voice, and movement—and to meet in a space that allows you to turn inward and direct your heart toward the new year.

“Circles” is a series of intimate gatherings, the first of their kind at the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem, inviting people to connect through music, movement, and voice. It is a lively, experiential space that enables participants to slow down, listen, and reconnect with their individual and collective voices.

The gathering is led by Orka, a musician, singer-songwriter, and facilitator who has spent many years exploring the ritual and spiritual dimensions of singing. In her work with audiences in Israel and around the world, she creates spaces that invite people to open their voices, express their uniqueness, and experience a deep connection with themselves and others.

The event will take place in two parts:

Day Workshop with Orka

An experiential workshop led by Orka, an experienced artist and facilitator with extensive experience guiding vocal journeys and singing circles around the world. The workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the transformative power of communal singing and self-expression.

The workshop invites participants to open, release, and activate their inner and physical voices in a safe, supportive space. Through vocal exercises, group work, and movement, participants will explore the expressive possibilities contained within the voice and strengthen their connection to themselves and those around them.

Evening Performance – Orka Hosts Nadav Dagon

A live musical gathering connecting voice, rhythm, movement, and improvisation with Orka’s moving texts.

Orka’s ritual performances are not merely performances—they are gatherings in which music becomes a tool for deep connection, intention, and prayer.

Nadav Dagon will join Orka for a performance inviting listening, presence, and connection. Together, they will create a musical space that is built and transformed in real time.

Nadav Dagon is an artist and creator who has developed a vibrant, unique, and uncompromising musical language over the years, earning broad recognition in Israel and around the world. His performances are created in real time onstage, through an encounter between rhythm, electronics, percussion, and improvisation. The result is a dynamic and hypnotic experience that changes from moment to moment and is influenced by the space, the gathering, and the audience’s energy.
