The Jerusalem Ministry and the Jewish Quarter Heritage and Tourism Department are pleased to invite you to a unique Selichot tour of the Jewish Quarter.
Our journey begins at Jaffa Gate, from where we will make our way to the heart of the Jewish Quarter and explore its alleyways and various sites. During the tour, we will descend three meters below today’s Jewish Quarter to the Herodian Quarter (the Priestly Houses). We will walk among the luxurious residences of ancient Jerusalem, admire magnificent mosaic floors, decorated ceilings, and ancient ritual baths, offering a rare glimpse into daily life during the Second Temple period.
We will also ascend to a breathtaking viewpoint of Jerusalem from the Hurva Synagogue and conclude the tour at the Western Wall.
Please note: During the Ten Days of Repentance and on selected holidays (to be announced later), an exciting Selichot show will take place in the Priestly Quarter.
This is a special opportunity to experience the Jewish Quarter from a different perspective and connect with the rich heritage of the Jewish people in a moving and authentic way. Space is limited—reserve your place now!
