A film about a young German woman who was forced to taste Hitler’s food. The screenings will take place on September 4 and 5, 2026, at the Jerusalem Cinematheque.
In 2012, at the age of 95, a woman named Margot Wölk revealed that she was one of several young German women forced to taste Hitler’s food before it was served to him. Until then, the very existence of the food tasters had been kept secret. Margot was the only one to survive the war. Her extraordinary story inspired the film before us.
