Screening of the film “My Word” on September 4–5, 2026, at the Jerusalem Cinematheque. The film follows John Davidson’s experience coping with Tourette syndrome.
At age 12, John Davidson develops Tourette syndrome, and those around him struggle to understand his behavior. My Word, based on his life, follows him over the decades as he copes with the syndrome and the reactions of those around him. Thanks to its warm direction and abundance of excellent actors, the result effectively stirs the emotions, eliciting both smiles and heartfelt reactions.
