This guided theatrical workshop invites children to create puppets from old socks brought from home. Participants learn Muppet techniques, develop character traits, and practice puppeteering through lip-sync performances. The transformation turns everyday socks into stars of famous musical numbers. The session lasts approximately two and a half hours.
Star of the Evening – The Sock! is a guided theatrical meeting where we will create characters from old socks brought from home, turning them into stars of the most famous musicals!
During the workshop, we will learn how to use socks as a base for Muppet puppets, how to give personality to a puppet, and how to enhance the character already inherent in the socks themselves. We will practice operating the puppets using "lip-sync" clips, allowing the socks to take the stage as musical stars!
Highly recommended to bring old socks waiting to be given new life.
Event duration: Approximately 2.5 hours per session

August events at Koom Koom are part of the "Seder Tarbut" (Cultural Order) events, supported by the Jerusalem Foundation.
The theater operates under Home Front Command guidelines regarding audience limits and has a spacious, nearby protected shelter (bomb shelter) within the building itself.
