Who Decides on Hebrew Matters and How Does It Relate to Us?
What did they do with Hebrew a thousand years ago and how does it affect us? Who were the pioneers of Hebrew and how did children help them? What do the objects tell us from the home of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda?
Together we will discover what Hebrew meant for its speakers and readers in the past and what it means for us today, we will learn about special linguistic phenomena (not only in Hebrew!) and discover what they tell us about Hebrew and about ourselves.
Join us on a fascinating journey following the language and culture of us all!
What's in the Program?
A guided activity combined with a game with visitor participation, including a tour of the exhibition displaying Eliezer Ben-Yehuda's correspondence, the index card of the renowned lexicographer Abraham Even-Shoshan, and more.
