Safari: A Journey to the Robotic Wildlife Reserve
An interactive exhibition of handcrafted animal robots with exposed mechanisms, accompanied by programmable light and sound. Visitors can approach the construction closely to see how it works. Additionally, a paid workshop for children is offered, where young guests create their own mechanical animals. The project is part of a municipal cultural program.

Amit Drory's Mechanical Animals Safari – Season 2
After thousands of visitors have already fallen in love with it, the unique project by creator Amit Drory continues for a second season at the interdisciplinary venue (Talpiyot, Jerusalem). Come up close and meet dozens of robotic animals, built through rare and meticulous handcrafted work spanning thousands of hours.
The real magic? Everything is exposed!
The animals' operating mechanisms are visible to your eyes: the motors are the muscles, the controllers are the brain, and the wiring is the nervous system. An experience where traditional craftsmanship meets technology, wrapped in programmed lighting and sound that will take you to a mysterious universe where nature and machine become one.
And after the tour? A creative workshop for children!
Let children's imaginations run wild in a workshop (approximately 45 minutes) where they will create their own mechanical animals! The creations will be photographed and featured in the Safari's Instagram gallery, and the materials will be recycled afterward. An experience of creation and great satisfaction! (Workshop participation requires a separate ticket purchased on-site. Free entrance for accompanying parent).
