The Hutzot Hayotzer Festival 2025

Jerusalem continues to lead the cultural scene with the 49th Yotzer Street Festival, an initiative of the Jerusalem Municipality and Ariel! This year, the festival will take place with a new and exciting concept – “Yotzer Street – as a material in the hands of the Creator.” This year, the chosen raw material is “wood” – a symbol of roots, community and renewal.

The festival will be centered around a powerful installation called “The Tree of Life,” expressing the forces of renewal and rebirth that we all need. Along with art and creative booths, an exhibition of wooden sculptures will be built especially for the festival by leading artists in the field.

There will be over 80 stunning art booths featuring works by Israel’s finest artists in a variety of creative fields: painting, ceramics, jewelry, weaving, Judaica, toys and mixed media, many of whom work with wood or incorporate it into their work.

In addition, there will be a rich and educational family zone, including creative workshops, labyrinths, games, a puppet theater and various activities - all inspired by the world of wood. The family zone will open at 5:00 PM, and then, as part of the festival, families will be invited to continue their visit to cultural institutions around the city at no additional cost, in a festive atmosphere.

The culinary zone will include all the street food kiosks from leading chefs and restaurants with a variety of cuisines and tastes suitable for everyone. All kiosks are kosher.
