A fascinating journey into the city's past: great events and great people. During the excursion, we will learn the secrets of the times of the First Temple, the Crusaders and the British Mandate. The walk will begin on the territory of the Citadel of King David and continue in the Kishle complex. We will cover 3000 years in just a couple of hours.
The tour takes visitors through the ruins of King Herod's palace, a medieval tannery and the Kishla prison, and includes rare finds, stories and fascinating evidence - from the days of the First Temple and the Hasmonean period to the Jewish underground during the British Mandate. The tapestry of stories and evidence comes together to present a timeline of events and phenomena in the Old City over 3,000 years - to the present day.
*Please note: The tour includes a climb up the stairs to the Kishla.
