Tour Around the Sea of Galilee

Tour itinerary

• 08:00 – Departure from the Herzliya Performing Arts Center (please arrive by 07:45).
• 08:00–09:30 – Drive to Amiad Junction.
• 09:30–10:00 – Independent breakfast at Aroma.

We will begin with a visit to Beit HaGalil, a clergy center established in 2000 on the “Mount of Beatitudes,” representing an order that connects Christianity and Judaism in the Land of Israel.

We will visit ancient Magdala, where a 2,000-year-old Jewish settlement, a synagogue from that period, and a thriving fishing town on the shores of the Sea of Galilee were uncovered.

• 13:30–14:30 – Independent lunch at the Migdal complex.
• 15:00–17:00 – Visit to the Dona Gracia Museum, where we will view a display, hear a lecture about her, tour the halls of her “restored” palace, and see a doll exhibition illustrating the stages of her turbulent life, filled with upheavals, successes, and failures, and what became of her.

We will dress in period clothing and be photographed in it as a wonderful keepsake.
