A support group and tools for mindful fatherhood takes place from 25 October to 29 November at the Meteor Center, Herzliya. Six sessions on Sundays, 20:30–22:00.
Being a father is one of the most meaningful and challenging roles in life, and no one really taught us how to do it.
Between the demands of a career, the workload at home, and the desire to be present, patient, and attentive, it is easy to sometimes feel alone amid the overwhelm.
“Fathers’ Circle” is a powerful space created exactly for you: a place to take off the masks, unload the burden, meet other fathers experiencing the very same challenges, and gain practical tools for more attentive, stable, and connected fatherhood.
25.10 – Session 1: Landing in the Space — Arriving at the Circle and Unloading the Burden
Participants become familiar with the circle’s basic principles: a safe space, confidentiality, speaking in the first person, heartfelt listening, and creating group support.
1.11 – Session 2: “I’m Not Alone in This” — Normalizing the Challenges of Fatherhood
Identifying what we have in common and what is similar.
8.11 – Session 3: “The Father I Had”
Intergenerational fatherhood: examining the fatherhood patterns we absorbed in our childhood homes, and the balance between authority, distance, and presence.
15.11 – Session 4: Patience, Anger, and Regulation with the Children
Dealing with emotions, losing patience, and parental guilt.
22.11 – Session 5: Fatherhood and the Couple’s Relationship
Examining burnout, the division of responsibilities, and conflicts at home surrounding the raising of children.
29.11 – Session 6: Differentiation, Setting Boundaries, and Leaving the Space
Practicing standing firmly, maintaining differentiation and boundaries in relation to the world and to the children.
Sundays – 25.10 through 29.11
20:30–22:00
