"How the Wheel Turns" – Shmulik Kraus
Legendary creator, pioneer of rock and Hebrew music, whose songs have accompanied the country’s soundtrack from the 1960s to the present day. The show "How the Wheel Turns" brings forth the musical beauty of Kraus and his great charisma. The performance includes songs from the era of "The High Windows" up to his last album from 2003. Hits include: "You Cannot," "All Week for You," "Melancholy Song," "Days of Cinema," "What About Me," "Chalkboard and Chalk," "Seeing Far, Seeing Clear," "How the Wheel Turns," "Guitar," "After 20 Years," "If," "Sunstroke," "Reconciled," "Again," "Wooden Horse," "It Happens," "When You Cry You’re Not Pretty," and many others.
The show is musically directed by Ilan Verzberg, who has produced and played with Shmulik Kraus for over 20 years. Throughout the show, Ilan recounts his work with Kraus. Ilan has composed and produced dozens of successful songs and albums for top Israeli artists over the years, including Nurit Galron, Gali Atari, Chava Alberstein, Ariek Sini, and others. Ilan has released 14 personal albums, including the immortal album "Vintage Year," considered one of the best and most influential rock albums in Israeli music.
This captivating show emphasizes the authenticity of the songs, presenting them in their original versions, with some featuring new arrangements. The band consists of singers and musicians who participate in productions by leading artists in the country; their connection was forged through a great love and bond for Shmulik Kraus's creations:
