A Story Within a Pendant: A Workshop for Creating Custom-Designed Jewelry

Whether it is a special celebration for a birthday or simply a pampering outing, a workshop where you can make a unique piece of jewelry is the perfect opportunity to spend quality time together with the women you love.

The workshop begins with an emotional discussion about femininity, art, and the inner strength found in each of us, using awareness and inspiration cards. From this discussion, you will embark on a special creative journey, during which you will learn a technique for designing a pendant using crystal-clear resin combined with decoupage papers, fabrics, stones, beads, and colorful cotton tassels, while learning the basics of jewelry making.

At the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with a piece of jewelry she planned and designed—colorful or monochromatic, bohemian or delicate and classic, all according to her personal taste. The finished product will be a piece of jewelry that tells the personal “story” of each participant, which she will cast and frame in the jewelry mold.

The workshop includes light refreshments and all the materials needed to make two pieces of jewelry with small pendants or one piece of jewelry with a large pendant, at each participant’s choice. It is possible to add another piece of jewelry for a nominal fee during the workshop.

The workshop will be led by Ortal, a group facilitator with a degree in psychology, a designer, and an artist. Ortal has extensive experience teaching and facilitating creative workshops for all ages and will be happy to accompany you step by step and assist with any questions.
