Green Festival in the Bay: Sukkot of Nature, Creativity, and Sustainability for the Whole Family
On Monday, 17 Tishrei (the second day of Chol HaMoed), September 28, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., we will meet at Kishon River Park (Shavit Fishing Harbor) for a morning of activities, creativity, and fresh air in nature.
Throughout the day, you can enjoy various activity areas:
- A play area made from reused materials
- A carpentry workshop using recycled wood
- Cardboard crafts and construction
- A clothing upcycling workshop
- Hands-on vegetable fermentation
- A balcony garden using the No Dig method
- Sukkah decorations made from natural materials
- An acro-balance area for parents and children
- Guided tours along the Kishon River
There will also be a take-and-give fair for clothes and toys, inviting you to pass on items in good condition that you no longer use and find them a new home.
At the end of the day, children can enjoy a show for the whole family, “Save the Fairy,” by Teatroknerol—a colorful, interactive journey about waste, nature, and environmental responsibility.
