Reference Point: A Close-Up Look at Haifa Architecture

Haifa is a city that tells its story through its buildings. Between the mountain and the sea lie houses, public buildings, neighborhoods, stairways, gardens, and spaces that have shaped its character for more than 150 years. This year, the Bat Galim Festival is expanding its boundaries, and we invite you to discover the city from a new perspective—to enter buildings opened especially for the occasion, get to know familiar places through stories you have never heard, and take a fresh look at the architecture, landscape, and history that make Haifa a one-of-a-kind city.

Over the festival’s three days, more than 30 architecture events will take place throughout the city, including visits inside the city’s most fascinating buildings, unique walking tours, and one-time meetings with architects and researchers.
