Since its invention 200 years ago, photography in the postmodern era has become part of culture and the documentation of human conduct. The photographer is aware of the result, seemingly affirming the existence of the object and how the viewer perceives reality.
The power of photography lies in its ability to assert and confirm; the photograph does not yield to authority, it is the thing itself. It allows expression of personal viewpoints, and thus is also open to interpretation and intervention. In the same regard, it disrupts privacy and serves as a tool for voyeurism, incriminating documentation, and perception.

The group exhibition "Following the Photography" showcases works that present photography as a source versus interpretation, expansion, change, and generalization against a seemingly unattainable reality. The works continue to engage with photography, either through digital prints or through works where painting and drawing are the tools that create interpretations of photography, not as a source but as a starting point.
