New World of Paper | Gallery for the Whole Family

Collage is an important technique in art that allows us to connect different worlds and create things that only exist in our imagination. To create a collage, images are cut out of different materials, chopped up and deconstructed, and then the pieces are put together in new and surprising ways. The stranger the cuts and connections, the more original the new creation becomes.

One floor above you is an exhibition by artist Rachel Aniu, who works in the collage technique. She wanted to learn about the culture she comes from, Ethiopian, and to do this, she took parts of photographs that were in her family album and created large collages from these parts. You are invited to read Rachel's stories about several objects, create collages yourself, and participate in the exhibition as collage artists.
