After Nora’s mother dies, her father Gustav, a famous film director, returns to her life with a proposition: he wants her to play the lead in a new autobiographical work he is developing. Nora refuses, and the role goes to a promising American actress, changing the course of the film. Between the absence of their beloved mother, their father’s return, and the work on the film, Nora and her sister Agnes try to find their way through a maze of conflicting emotions and the desire to begin a new chapter in their lives.
