“Everything Passes” – Contemporary and Captivating Pop-Jazz
Tuki Stern – vocals, synthesizer, guitar | Itai Dan Carmeli – guitar, synthesizer | Tom Peifel – bass | Gal Tamir – drums
The 24-year-old pianist, singer, and songwriter Tuki Stern may be young, but he has already made an impressive and exceptional mark on the local music industry. He regularly performs with leading musicians such as Asaf Avidan, Guy Mazig, Nuno, Danny Sanderson, and Marina Maximilian, and has also served as the musical producer of Nir Canaan’s album. Critics have praised Stern’s songwriting, describing it as capable of embellishing profound insights into life with beautiful, intimate, and measured music.
At the festival, Stern performs material from his new album, “Everything Passes,” released in 2025, with the acclaimed musical production of Shuzin (known for his work with Shlomi Shaban and Ester Rada). Shuzin also co-wrote some of the album’s sophisticated lyrics, which Stern composed in their entirety.
Accompanied by a tight quartet of musicians combining synthesizers and guitars, Stern presents an especially energetic, contemporary, and fresh performance, showcasing mature songwriting and an extraordinary sound of voice and keyboards that redefine local pop-jazz.
