Dudu Tassa is one of Israel’s most beloved and acclaimed artists, with a long list of major hits such as “Bayit BeYafo,” “Basof Matraglim Lehakol,” “HaGולה,” “Lola,” “Eizeh Yom,” “Freed,” and “Ani Ratz”—songs that have become the soundtrack of an entire generation. Tassa’s unique fusion of his Iraqi roots with rugged rock music broke through Israel’s borders long ago. With the acclaimed project “The Kuwaitis,” in which he revived songs created by his grandfather and brother in Iraq, Tassa performed across the United States and Europe on the stages of the world’s biggest festivals. Tassa continues to pursue an extensive international career, including his much-discussed collaboration with Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood in their joint project “Jarak Qaribak,” in which they recorded Middle Eastern love songs together.

In honor of the festival’s 40th edition, Tassa comes to Eilat Port for a band performance featuring acclaimed cellist Mayo Shaviro, who brings versatile and enchanting cello playing to the stage, bridging East and West, alongside a powerful wind quartet. This exclusive stage collaboration will give Tassa’s hits different and rich colors through an intense and warm dialogue between electric and acoustic guitars and wind instruments.
