Entrance to the Museum of Philistine Culture: Visit to the permanent exhibition "The World of the Philistines" and the "Seamline" exhibition – Anthropology of Fashion. This exhibition examines the daily question, "What to wear?", curating decisions regarding appearance, belonging, and non-verbal communication. Ashdod, as a city of many voices, is a distinct space for these contexts. Its diverse communities carry distinct dress codes that intersect and meet in public spaces. 'Seamline' integrates into a broad dialogue led by the Museum of Philistine Culture with material culture. Researchers in fashion, visual curators, designers, costumers, costume designers, street photographers, and multidisciplinary artists have been invited to illuminate various aspects of clothing culture: those who dress, thoughts on clothing, and the anthropology of dress.
