About the Work
A new work about a sensory and physical journey to the heart of one of the most elusive and profound concepts: time.
It is an attempt to decipher the pulse of the world and the pulse of the human being—the constant tension between the perishable body and the eternity that seeks to remain.
The work’s title draws on three goddesses from Roman and Greek mythology who weave the thread of every person’s life. Similarly, in the dance, time is unraveled and woven again and again—measured, stretched, cut, and formed.
Nona is a work about time, but also an invitation to stop. To listen. To move. To understand that time eludes us, yet is also the only thing in our hands.
