Join us for a fascinating English-language guided tour of Magen David Adom’s Blood Services Centre in Ramla, and learn how donated blood is collected, processed, tested, stored and distributed to hospitals throughout the country.
The Israeli National Blood Services, a division of Magen David Adom (MDA), is responsible for Israel’s national blood supply. Its state-of-the-art facility, which opened in Ramla in 2023, has the capacity to process up to 500,000 blood units each year.
Designed to remain operational during emergencies, the facility is protected against conventional and non-conventional threats as well as earthquakes.
