Close to Home on Election Day – We will set out on a journey through the landscapes of the Jerusalem Hills, an area where every ridge, road, and viewpoint tells another chapter in the story of the land. We will begin overlooking the battlefields of Latrun and continue climbing along the historic Burma Road. We will proceed through forests and ridges to the HaMesarek Nature Reserve, Nahal Kisalon, and the Tzova area, Ein Tayyasim, Ein Limon, and vistas of clear mountain air. Toward the end, we will descend via Mount HaTayyasim to Nahal Sorek, which flows year-round, concluding a day that combines mountain scenery, nature, and history at nearly every turn.
