Golden Autumn in the Dolomites
A tour of the Dolomites, Padua, and the Abano Terme thermal baths will take place from October 25 to November 1. Departure from Venice Airport.
I invite you on a journey through the magnificent Dolomites during the “golden autumn” season.
At this time, snow may already lie on the highest peaks. The high-mountain meadows turn into snowy carpets. Endless vineyards on the slopes and larch trees create unforgettable “golden autumn” landscapes.
We will get to know charming Alpine towns steeped in centuries of history and experience three cultures coexisting in these mountains.
We will hike along Alpine trails, admiring the beauty of nature. After our journey through the Alps, we will head to warmer regions: visit the beautiful city of Padua and stay in Abano Terme. Here, we will walk through the surrounding hills and warm up in the thermal baths.
Itinerary
October 25
In the morning, we arrive at Venice Airport.
We travel to the Dolomites, toward the town of Dobbiaco. We walk around the fairytale-like Lake Dobbiaco (5–6 km) and through the town itself. The itinerary will be finalized later.

October 26
After breakfast, we travel to the beautiful Lake Braies. We hike along the lakeshore (4 km). A traditional boat ride on the lake may be possible. Afterwards, we hike through the Alpine meadows; the route will be finalized later.

October 27
After breakfast, we head to the village of Santa Maddalena. We follow a beautiful route around the village, admiring the meadows and the majestic Odle massif. The route is 6 km long, with an elevation gain of 200 m.
In the afternoon, we walk through the picturesque town of Chiusa and climb to the Lord’s Tower. The route is approximately 3 km long, with an elevation gain of 100 m.

October 28
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel to Bolzano. We take a funicular up to the village of Soprabolzano. We ride along the old narrow-gauge railway between the villages. We stroll through the charming village of Collalbo and follow scenic trails to see a unique geological phenomenon—the Earth Pyramids, also known as the “witches’ chimneys.”
After returning to Bolzano, we follow trails through the vineyards to Roncolo Castle.
In the evening, we walk through the city of Bolzano.

October 29
After breakfast at the hotel, we ascend to the Alpe di Siusi plateau. There may already be snow there. Along the way, we follow trails around Fiè Lake and Lake Huber.

October 30
After breakfast at the hotel, we walk between the beautiful villages of Tisens and Prissiano. In the afternoon, we travel to Abano Terme.

October 31
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out to explore the city of Padua.
In the evening, we relax in the thermal baths of Abano Terme.

November 1
Morning flight to Tel Aviv.
