Cellist Simcha Heled, whom we know from concerts in Savyon in previous years, is celebrating more than sixty years of performing around the world, as a soloist with renowned orchestras and as a member of chamber ensembles, including the Yuval Trio, which performed worldwide for approximately forty years and was considered the best-known Israeli ensemble in the world. Simcha performs in Israel only with the finest musicians, such as those who will perform with him on this special evening. Misha Zaretzkel and Mark Karlinsky are musicians of the highest caliber in the world, and Gili Radian Sadeh, a member of the Philharmonic, joins for the final piece in this program, which is all about enjoyment and pleasure. So what’s on the program?? A large selection of works by composers such as Chopin, Kreisler, Saint-Saëns, Rimsky-Korsakov, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Arensky, Mendelssohn, and many more. Because of the concert’s time constraints, we will ask the audience about their preferences—and we will play them!!!

This is definitely not the buttoned-up concert you’re used to.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
