Hello everyone!

So, guys, are you ready to join us on a journey to one of the most beautiful stalactite caves in Israel, escape the heat, and hike a wonderful route with truly breathtaking views?

This season, we will visit Namer Cave for the last time. Starting November 1, it will be closed until the end of March to allow the bats to overwinter undisturbed. So this is our last opportunity to see this beauty before the cave falls asleep along with its inhabitants.

What awaits us?

We will begin the hike in Adamit Park and descend to Me'arat HaKeshet. There, we will talk about how the cave was formed, why it collapsed, and how it turned into a huge stone arch.

Next, we will follow a beautiful trail with breathtaking views of Western Galilee and the Mediterranean Sea. Then we will reach Me'arat Namer.

Near the cave, we will set up a small camp, prepare the safety ropes, and set out to explore its underground chambers. Narrow passages, some crawling, stalactites, and stalagmites created by nature over thousands of years await us.

After the cave, we will have tea and coffee with our traditional ugha and hold a group session on the topic of “Self-Confidence.”

We will then continue along the shady bed of Nahal Namer. Along the way, we will learn why it received this name and arrive at the vehicles.

The route is of moderate difficulty. Most of the trail is downhill, but inside the cave there will be narrow sections, crawling, and work with ropes. It is important to listen carefully to the guide and follow the safety rules.

BRING WITH YOU:

• 3 liters of water per person
• Comfortable clothing that can get dirty
• Closed trekking shoes
• Head covering
• Sunscreen
• Medication for chronic conditions
• A flashlight, preferably a headlamp
• Spare batteries
• A snack, if desired

HIKE RULES:

Alcohol and drugs are prohibited.

You must follow safety procedures, not overtake the guide, and not fall behind the person bringing up the rear.

Littering, damaging stalactites or stalagmites, or leaving any traces behind is prohibited.

Please protect nature, respect the other participants, and maintain a friendly atmosphere.

The route may be changed due to weather conditions, the security situation, or other circumstances.

Personal insurance is not included in the participation fee.

Registering for the hike constitutes agreement to the rules. A participant who violates the safety rules may be removed from the remainder of the route.

PARTICIPATION FEE:

120 NIS per person.

For soldiers and teenagers aged 12 to 18 — 90 NIS.

Children under 12 and pets participate free of charge.

Cleanliness discount — 20 NIS.

Participation with a pet must be coordinated in advance.
