Introductory Meeting

15 in-person group sessions, once a week (a semester of a little over three months)
Three hours per session, Mondays, 16:00–19:00, Gil’Or House
In the classes, participants learn music through a unique, active, experiential, and enjoyable method,
based on the Tal Ben-Or Method,
through six elements:
Rhythm – Through drumming, participants discover deep connections between the heartbeat and music.
Movement – Types of walking and hand movements that make musical processes accessible.
Playing an instrument – Playing the recorder and breathing life into the material. A dedicated exercise booklet for reading music.
Singing – Using the voice as an emotional expression to create inner and outer unity.
Knowledge – Learning musical notation and theory as a key to understanding and recognizing the connection between musical and everyday processes.
Listening – Creating a personal soundtrack for a positive influence in all areas of life. Identity.
Personal Guidance and Learning Aids
Each participant receives a recorder and an exercise booklet fully tailored to the course.
