Especially for the Sukkot holiday, gather at the exhibit telling the story of the Tel (mound), climb the easy mound, and enjoy a fascinating guided tour. The tour takes place among the Tel's paths, the gate, the palace, and the Tree of Demons, ending with a viewpoint overlooking the Shephelah landscape. At the end, the whole family is invited to play large wooden games near the Visitor Center.
To celebrate the holiday of Sukkot, we will gather and begin with an installation that tells the unique story of the archaeological mound. We will climb the mound (easy climbing) and join a fascinating guided tour that shares the special history of the site.
The tour will take place among the paths of the mound and its unique findings, including the gate, the palace, and the "Tree of Demons." The tour concludes with a viewpoint overlooking the Shephelah landscape and vineyards.
At the end of the tour, near the visitor center, the whole family is invited to play large wooden games that bring everyone back to their childhood.
When: Tuesday–Thursday, September 29 – October 1, from 11:00 to 14:00. Guided tours depart every half hour at: 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:30, 14:00.
